When our Festival Director Dan Krovich chose 'Bama Girl and Land of Confusion to screen at this year's fest, the furthest thing from his mind was the 2008 election. Dan's all about how good are the films. What films will Atlanta audiences respond to.
In truth, if you keep in mind just those two elements, it's near impossible to choose films that aren't relevant to the issues and concerns of our world. When you get a moment, take a look at the trailers for these two powerful films. They're also competing for the Documentary Competition prize, so you definitely don't want to miss either of these films.

From the festival staff and all the volunteers, you we hope enjoy this year's festival. Festival Director Dan Krovich has programmed a fantastic line-up films that cover the cinematic spectrum (say that 3 times fast...okay, so it wasn't that hard).

We're an audience festival and our goal is to present Atlanta Audiences some of the most interesting and engaging line-up films possible. As we make the run-up to Opening Night and throughout, keep checking back here as we'll be posting photos, trailer links and all more to keep you up to date and in the loop about this year's fest.
